It's about time someone is taking some steps to get the Menomonee Valley cleaned up. It is an eyesore right in the middle of Milwaukee. Sitting unused for years, i'd hate to think what goes through people's mind when the catch a whif of the brewery and see the old train yard. It must what I thought of Gary, IN the first time I drove through...smelly and dingy.
If they build a business park there I wonder if people go head down the street to the Potowatami casino for 'lunch'?
Big congrats to the Badgers for beating Ohio State and their 19 game winning streak and jumping ten spots to number 12 in one of the poles. Oh, and if you watched the game and saw what happened to QB Jim Sorgi (the choke), the offending player got suspended a game and Sorgi will be back in the line up againdt Purdue this Saturday.
Great idea, just need to get going on it though. Just like the rebuilding of the Papst Brewery!
