Thank you for the kind comments on the Grant Park photo album.
Hope everyone is enjoying the early summer. We had a neighborhood rummage sale and we were able to get rid of a lot of stuff that we did not need. We also picked up a couple bargains. Mine being a messenger bag that I can keep my gadgets in ($1), I also plan to keep my binoculars and bird book in it on birding excursions.
Rachel and I hit the lakefront today to escape the heat. Not really used to temps in the mid-80s! Rachel got a brisk walk in and I pounded the pavement for a 7 mile run.
Next week is the Locust Street festival complete with a beer run! Kacz and I will be running in it. Later King Solomon performs, come on down if you are around :)
Thanks so much for helping Lisa and I with all the moving! We basically have everything unpacked already too.
Good luck on the run! I am thinking of doing the walk for Storm the Bastille if I can get in to better shape (round is a shape but not the shape I want to be in...hehe)
