Folks, having a great time in the South. Rachel and I left Milw. dark and early Saturday and rolled into Shreveport 15hrs and 950 miles later. Sunday after the guys watch football and the ladies shopped we headed to Dallas. Uncle Mike and Aunt Brenda have graciously put us up. After the Packer (Yay!) game I messed around with Halo 2 a bit. Monday we met with the minister who will be doing our ceremony. Then Rachel got a test run for hair and makeup, while I really got a chance to play Halo 2, then Preston and Mike jumped into the fray and next thing I know I am bleary eyed writing to you people. Somewhere in the middle of the Halo sessions we had a great dinner with Rachels dad, Rich.
Tuesday is cake tasting, visiting the site again, Forbidden City Exhibit, and an evening with Uncle Clyde and Aunt Cathy. Wed. is a visit to the Grandparents then back off to Lou-see-anna for belated birthday with the parents then Thanksgiving.
Did the Lake Michigan states go to hell in a handbasket when I was pay attention to things? Brawls in the NBA, friggin' hunter goes on a killing spree (not the video game kind) back home in WI. Wow.
