Went snowboarding this weekend with some of the gang. I got my fundamentals down, meaning stopping and turning. I did however run someone over and force the chairlift to stop (a minute after running someone over).

Woohoo! I had heard rumors of this upgrade to RoadRunner in SE WI but this is the first time I saw it in print. Although this article nor Time Warner's website mention what the upload speed will be anything better than the 40k a second will do. Why does it matter? Bitorrent baby, bitorrent.

This site rocks! Yousendit.com lets you upload a file up to 1G and email the link (to the file on their server) to the person you want to send it to. A large group of photos, a (not copyrighted) music album, a (not copyrighted) movie are all good candidates for this service.

I upgraded to iPhoto 05 last night it works well. This software company has made their very usefull plugin to export photos to weblogs and its free.

Found this app last night as well. It allows 3rd party cd writers to be compliant with iTunes and built in burning software.

Well have I got news for you. There will be a demolition party this Saturday the 15th. A good friend is rehabilitating a building in Milwaukee's innter city and is completely gutting the first floor. I have been working with him the past two weekends on the second floor. You get to rip walls down and knock the lathing out. There is a fair amount of hauling and dumping and dust involved but it is for a good cause and I have grown a little soft in my office chair. If you or your friends have any interest in participating (lunch included) let me know. Rides and such can be arranged. The building is across from the post office on Martin Luther King and Center St. The building will be housing a martial arts school on the first floor and a residence on the second.
